Now they added 52 new scenarios, including a what-if scenario design mode. Not only this, but the very mechanics of the game were buggy and the AI wasn't very good. The original East front was apparently released in a rush, so they didn't really polish everything out before launch and left a lot of content out. You have to build up your army and create a strategy to defeat your opponent, but be very careful, and consider every situation possible. Each turn lasts about six minutes, and most scenarios usually last about two hours. The turn-based action is pretty similar to something you'd find in a board game of the same style. About the game
Developed in by TalonSoft, and released in 1999, East Front II is not a sequel, despite what the name implies. And back in the day, videogames similar to board games were more common than you might think. Board games and video games can get along quite well, they can both include strategy, organization, and rules.
